I have question for anyone that has assembled the G17 model.

I printed the b1 part vertically with the rear sight down. I used tree supports in my cura settings. I still have quite a bit of support material stuck in the holes, and I am having a hard time getting it all out.

I'm wondering if there is a better orientation to print this part to remove the supports easier, or do I have to go buy a drill bit set to clean the support material out?

Thanks in advance.

it would be best if you put the nose (barrel end) down towards the bed and print it

Which part is it? The frame? I dont currently have the files so i dont know... For the hole support material, it either break it and pull it out with the flush cutters that came with your ender 3 (if you bought it) or drill it out.

Print with the barrel opening down (the part with two holes: barrel and recoil). Use the prusa slicer, set it to the print quality you want want, and have it print with only supports from the build plate. That's how I got mine to print well. Look into prusa slicer. It's the best slicer I've found.

That's the B1 file of the M4, not Glock 17. Orient like that, use tree supports. They will all come out.

Flip it upside down, the part that is now blue should touch the build plate.

Atleast, id do it that way. Not sure if its the best way, though.
