The game's main focus is purchasing"card packs" or "card pack" of basketball players who are hidden and players buy a "card pack" in the hope of finding an elite player, like Michael Jordan or Lebron James. This is actually gambling and is a demeaning act to those who already bought $70 to purchase the initial price that the game.
"MyCareer" Mode "MyCareer" mode allows players to design their own basketball player that goes on a journey to become an NBA superstar. In this year's edition, the NBA made not an attempt to create an original or compelling story. The story revolves around a popular social media athlete who has three options to pursue the basketball season.
The three options all have monotonous and predictable narratives. The lack of quality can cause a lot of players to skim past the boring cutscenes and just play basketball. Whatever route the player decides to take will not matter since they all have the same final destination that makes the vast majority irrelevant.
NBA 2K22's "MyCareer" story serves as 2k22 mt buy an illustration of the game. Similar to how the choices that players make in the game's game play do not affect the final outcome, nor do any of these claims made by 2K designers ever change the game's quality.
